The only version of patriotism I'll ever respect is when someone fights for other people's rights. When people break oppressive laws to protect the marginalized. When someone stands against injustice and fights the powers that be. The only good in this nation is when it's fighting to be better. Everything else is authoritarian propaganda and dead white men's fetishes.
