In #atomique everything has its own diskette (*). The logs (including crash logs) ? Logs: disk. App or system cache ? The Cache: it's a disk. Want to upgrade the System ?  Just replace System.atdsk * (that is seen from linux a folder called Something.atdsk that appears like an Amiga disk to the system as Something:
