It would seem less than ideal for pitchers to be draining fluid from their knees. It sounds like Shohei needs an extended rest from mound duties.

@steter@mastodon.stevesworld.co Shohei Ohtani spent the seasons in Hokkaido on artificial turf. Ken Griffey Jr. spent the seasons in Seattle on artificial turf. Draining fluid from knees is something else they have in common.
