@stroughtonsmith@mastodon.social didnt even think about this until you mentioned it. Everyone big player (Cursor, VSCode, v0, Notion, etc) are ready to support it day one. What is Apple doing? If they want to add AI capabilities to their IDE this thing cannot continue with an update every 3 to 6 months cadence.

@cmaciasjimenez@mastodon.social @stroughtonsmith@mastodon.social I dislike that Apple disallows users to set their preferred effort level, and at least the Xcode Claude extension is hardcoded to lowish value of 40, which is somewhere between low and medium. The coding quality is simply not on par compred to what the Claude app can do with effort set to Max (100).
