You’re right, that would be really stupid, just like Americans fighting over guns in a zombie apocalypse (ammo and medicine are the real limited supplies, especially if you suck at fighting zombies), or killing off a couple percent of your population because wearing masks is uncomfortable. So it seems very plausible.

I don’t really know anything about the zombie apocalypse stuff, but starting World War 3 is a chain of nuking that will kill billions and all of that for a bunch of Vault experiments? Come on! Vault Tech’s got enough money that they can easily conduct these experiments in isolated villages/towns or something without nuking the entire world.
