[Final update: Job is done. I ended up half-assing it anyway since the wind kicked up with intermittent (I'm guessing) 25mph gusts, which really put a damper on my ability to sit down and think it through with a literal sail billowing uncontrollably around me on a high unstable platform. ๐๐ญ Thanks everyone!]
Ok lazy web can you help? Searching is full of garbage.
I'm hanging a shade tarp on my RV snowshed posts to keep off the sun. It will be hit by wind. I will need to untie it next fall for winter. The tarp is air-permeable.
What kind of knot should I use? If I know the name, I should be able to look up how to tie it.
I'll be starting work within the hour, so a fast response will help. Anything after that, well, it'll be tied up one way or the other.
Thanks!
[Update: I have a suggested knot to use. If you have a better idea, check the replies first to make sure you're not repeating. Thanks!]

@corbden@defcon.social there is an app called knots-3d that shows you how to tie a variety of knots. Not too hard to follow for the simpler ones.
