You can now inherit a deceased relative's game accounts in China, which is still not a thing in the west despite multiple attempts to make it possible.
The court defined account data as digital assets which should be considered property, however identity related data such as private messages are not and "should not be inherited as they are inseparable from the deceased individual."
China once again being the frontier of consumer rights in gaming.
