🦗Tōrō-yama's (蟷螂山) yukata is emblazoned with roses and praying mantises. The pattern was created in 2021 by the son of the dyer (and living national treasure) Hata Tokio (羽田登喜男 d.2008). It celebrates the 40th anniversary of the float's refresh.

  • 🐓The yukata for Niwatori-boko (鶏鉾) feature chickens and the crest of Yasaka-jinja. The reign of China's Emperor Yao (尧 2356-2255BC) was so well governed that the drums (struck when complaints were lodged) grew moss and became the home of hens.
