@kallekn@mastodonsweden.se @svuorela@helvede.net @osma@mas.to I don't think the argument about making it difficult to repair makes sense. First, 80 meters is not actually particularly deep for a pipeline. It's no problem for the specialized ships that do those things.
And second, choosing a deep place has actually reduced the extend of the damage because the water had to run "uphill" inside the pipeline. If they had done it at a low water depth, a longer part of the pipeline would have been flooded.

@anderspuck@mastodon.social @svuorela@helvede.net @osma@mas.to That could be so, I'm not an expert. Generally a lot of stuff they did doesn't make sense. That doesn't mean they can't have done it. There is a lot of evidence pointing to them.
