@Orinks@mastodon.stickbear.me Just a few route suggestions: TX-130: The primary truck bypass around Austin and features an 85 MPH speed limit on part of the route, the highest posted speed limit in the Western Hemisphere. It was built to relieve congestion on I-35 by providing a faster route around Austin instead of through the city. US-281: One of the longest U.S. highways in the country, running from Brownsville, Texas, to the Canadian border in North Dakota. It's an important freight corridor through central Texas and the Great Plains, serving many communities and industries that aren't directly connected to the Interstate system while providing an alternative north-south route to I-35. US-67: An important freight corridor connecting Texas, Arkansas, and Missouri. It carries regional truck traffic between the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Texarkana, Little Rock, and southeastern Missouri, providing an alternative to the Interstate network and access to industries and communities that would otherwise be off the main trucking routes.
