Do you know what's sad, when you think about it? The evil tech lords, and the evil businesses who use their robots, did all of this, because they couldn't bear to hear what disappointments they were to their faces. For rich people, their entire lives are about preventing people from letting them know what people really think of them. They live in that much fear. They hate themselves that much. They're painfully aware of how loathesome they are, & all efforts are about keeping the truth at bay.
