Per #MadeleineRogers [1], the abuse of procedures like fast-tracking is a component of #DemocraticBacksliding that is "buried in confusing complexities that are difficult for non-experts to disentangle,... outside of the attention of the general public". Rogers gives an analysis + specific suggestions [1] of how to improve #DemocraticResilience [2] before it's too late. Not easy because of the complexity, but doable.
