Large brownish dragonflies (possibly variegated meadowhawk) are flying low near Half Moon Bay today. We followed their flight path toward the Mirada East wetlands. Didn't get far enough to see if they were flying north FROM the marsh or THROUGH the marsh. Alas, none would stop for a photo. Will have to investigate further south. If you live Coastside, see if they're cruising through your neighborhood.
