@Sanderde@mstdn.ca But Canada stopped being a two party country decades ago, there is more than one opposition idea, The opposition leader is mostly a happenstance thing hanging on our first past the post electioning A better idea would be a hostel sort of thing where all the gov't leaders would have to share the kitchen and common areas. They would have to learn to live with a respect for each other (sort of a Canadian thing) Their extended families could possibly know and understand each other, and work to limit the animosity of spouses (another Canadian thing?) If this was put in place I suspect most leaders would just rent a place in Ottawa ..
