Did you read "The Tainted Cup" also a Sherlock Holmesesqe book which had some great world building and excellent voice acting.
I also adored the story and voice acting in "The House in the Cerulean Sea"
Last one that really stuck with me was "The Starless Sea"

@fullywoolly@mastodon.social The House in the Cerulean Sea is also on my list, it's getting a lot of praise. Great to hear the voice acting in the audiobook is good! Such a thing can really make or break the experience. I haven't read The Tainted Cup or The Starless see, I'll look them up! Thanks for the recommendations!
