Only Americans could come up with such braindead ideas. After restarting my phone my #steam app logged me out. That's fine. But I forgot what password I had so I thought I'll "just" reset password. No, that's too european way of thinking. To reset password in Steam, you have to give them a code displayed in Steam app. But since it's not displaying it (as it's stuck at login screen), I have to pick "I don't have access to authenticator" which in turn asks you to reset... the authenticator, and also bans you for two weeks from Steam Community market. Mailing the support, we'll see what they say.

@branch300bpm@social.vivaldi.net To be fair, when you set up your Steam Authenticator/Steam Guard you were actually _very explicitly_ prompted to save that aforementioned code in case you might need it for a future recovery. So if you've lost both your password and that code I can see how you'd be banned from the market for a while. I really wish you didn't have to use Steam's own authenticator app though, it's stupid for other reasons.
