It's funny to me, that the same people reluctant to write proper documentation for the code they write for humans, are happy to write pages of markdown for LLMs.

@bastilian@mastodon.social That might be a bit cynical, but to me it seems as if the difference being that one feels like helping colleagues do their work better who might be competing for the same job, while the others sole reason is giving orders to a (mildly put) subordinate that is making your own work easier.

@bastilian@mastodon.social @paulshryock@phpc.social … so you’re saying the upside of LLMs is that if we can get them to record their prompts then we’d have documented systems… that actually almost makes it tempting! (Why wont other devs write comments and docs??? :( )
