Although, I still have REM Losing my Religion a week or two after I first had it. So maybe - ignore me.
Childhood memories - there is no way. Sorry, you are stuck with them.

@SteveClough@metalhead.club @yourfutureex@metalhead.club I always have an #earworm — there's always music going through my head — so getting rid of an earworm is a matter of replacing it with another one, which I can do by playing a song I like better. As for embarrassing childhood #memories: self-compassion helps. I remind myself that I can't change the past, I forgive myself (without making excuses) for whatever I did wrong, and I use my adult's-eye view to recognise that, when people told me it was all my fault, it very often wasn't.
