@hollowman@fosstodon.org My first thoughts are always 'the museums' and in Manchester that would be the Museum of Science and Industry. https://www.scienceandindustrymuseum.org.uk/ Manchester Art Gallery is also one of my go to's. https://manchesterartgallery.org/ There is also the Peoples History Museum. https://phm.org.uk/visit/access/ It also depends on whereabouts you are based and how far you want to travel.
