@meganL@mas.to I judge bike racks by the lense of my fully loaded touring bike, the accessibility features are must to have at that point.
On my tour I pick supermarkets mostly for their racks - team Lidl because most of the time it is no problem to lock it there with my bags.

@plactagonic@f.cz There's something called the "curbcut effect" where abled people ALSO benefit from and use accessibility that disabled people fought for. The trick is getting abled people to join us in that fight while it's going on instead of simply riding coattails. Saw two different "artistic" cycle racks posted today and just hit my patience limit. :) Good ol' Sheffield rack pretty much can't be beat, in my opinion. It needs to be combined with good spacing, good siteing, and good anchorage, but as far as the design of the rack itself, it is the one accessible to the most different kinds of cycle frame designs. #CycleParkingAudit #BikeTooter
