@raindrops_and_roses@mastodon.social @randahl@mastodon.social
no one credible and sane thinks trump is a merely an exploited pawn
what randahl knows, but i think you do not, is who this alexander dugin is
dugin is a "political philosopher." he is a champion of russian ethnofascism. he has influence over putin and the kremlin
so randahl is merely taking pleasure in dugin's frustration

@benroyce@mastodon.social @raindrops_and_roses@mastodon.social @randahl@mastodon.social I know who Dugin is, too. I agree with exploiting the whole Schadenfreude (sp.?) of it all but I don't agree with "no one credible and sane thinks trump is a merely an exploited pawn." Many examples, but have you looked at the vid where he decided that the US wasn't going to have any more trade with Spain? The man is not capable of independent thought.

@benroyce@mastodon.social @randahl@mastodon.social The exploitation angle is a narrative I've seen as an undercurrent in op-eds from different angles. I'm speaking from a broader perspective.
