@keisatsu@infosec.exchange @ludman1@social.tchncs.de @element@mastodon.matrix.org IIRC the legacy element mobile clients had a feature to do optional client side scanning e.g. for hooking in antivirus or DLP in enterprise deployments. I'd guess they just ported that over and the PRs in the screenshot specifcally seem to implement the visual feedback for that.
