People at my workplace 'oohing and awing' over 'ai' being used to detect fires with tower-mounted cameras.
This is machine learning and we've used it for years at this point... Trying to brand iterative analysis and ML as such is #Slopoganda

@camless@m.ai6yr.org And this precisely is the danger in using the term "AI". Machine learning algorithms are numerous, all the way down to a simple 3 neuron PID loop. Most of the current hate is to #LLM . But due to transference, its all AI that's being hated.
