@ophis@brain.worm.pink fortune specifies the bribe is in stock, not cash. that means that if trump perhaps forced nasa to buy from spaceX and the stock price rises, the bribe can get more valuable.
i'd laugh my ass off if he sold it all immediately!
then Barrons ends their headline with "here's how he does it". they're saying it will happen and explaining how it will happen, instead of "how could he do it?"

@taq@thicc.horse i mean, if the stock is backed by the death throes and decay of an empire slowly (from an individual perspective, historiographically terribly rapid) collapsing into pure pre-medieval despotism that if it gets worse will last literally the rest of our lives in any event, surely it is highly reliable within the time frames being cared about :) :) :)
