Anthropic is also intentionally presenting Global Workspace Theory almost as a fact, saying (in effect) "this is how it works in humans", which I think is also misleading. We don't know that this is how consciousness works. (And if GWT does play a role, it may not even solve the hard problem.)
Calling information a model uses "access conscious" because it can be "verbalized" (i.e., produced in words) is tautological in a model that exists solely as a word processor and generator.
