Disgusted, as usual, about how #BSD just isn't *fun*. I have upgraded two #FreeBSD VMs' OSes this evening and ... it just worked. I didn't have to swear at anything, or read the source code, or knit my own boot loader from twigs. The BSDs really should learn some lessons from other more funnerer OSes.

@DrHyde@fosstodon.org I know the feeling. I've had similar boring upgrades recently on Debian and Linux Mint. But I've heard exciting stories from colleagues running Windows 11, so there's still interesting times to be had.
