What exactly? Tatu itself is a masterpiece production project made in the Russia of 90s. New market and audience niches were open on Pop music and they were up for grabbing. Ivan Shapovalov was a psychologist doing different jobs including marketing until he met a composer and co-producer with money and connections. He already worked with one of two girls, so they did casting to fill the gap, and because Pop music was still not enough saturated the project lifted off well. Of course, they were stretching and overworking the girls too much and I don’t think producers behavior was ethical. However from production standpoint Tatu is a great example of self-made success. So long story short - vision and necessity made Tatu.
