It seems to me the Republican party has revealed their true vile nature and cannot survive going forward*. One would hope. I fear though that sneaky political strategists will then simply promote Democratic switch-hitters who say all the right progressive things during the campaign and become something else entirely once they get into office. Not at all sure what can be done about that. * assuming elections remain a viable route for collective justice and self-determination
