@jimkats@infosec.exchange If a bit of landuse is going to be attached to existing features I'd rather it was done using a multi-polygon so that there are no overlapping ways that are a pain to select.

@InsertUser@en.osm.town That would be a possibility if it was an experienced mapper. And I think having multipolygons for areas such as landuses, is a kinda controversial topic in OSM. At least I found out now that in iD I can easily detach all nodes of a feature with D (yes, I forgot this feature existed there), without having to play multiple times with each node just because iD autoselects the feature I don't want to modify after the detachment. This will save me a bit of time, but it will still be a pain in the butt.
