The 'build your own swamp cooler' is interesting, but at the same time, it kind of shows a failing of the producers to understand where people are at. A fountain pump? A drill with a circular hole bit? Its a good idea, and helpful in a lot of circumstances. Not everyone can afford or even have power tools and a 6" fan lying around.
