Ydotools is one of the biggest failure and letdowns I’ve ever seen. It makes me sad every time.

xdotool mentions dotool, never heard of it before. I haven’t used in a few years, since I couldn’t get it to work the way I wanted. I just lived without it. I remember there being a hassle with installing it as well. What makes you dislike it so much?
