@adamw@fosstodon.org yeah, granted, thx for mentioning it and sorry for omitting that. But well mesa, thunderbird and a lot of smaller packages have no such exception but are kinda rolling. That and the exceptions itself lead to a "neither fish nor fowl" picture from the outside. And to me it feels a bit like this is becoming a problem worth addressing sooner or later.
