@Dodo_sipping@cupoftea.social its crazy, we've got over sixty million people living in the UK, in thirty years the land mass will genuinely be able to support maybe a third of that, tops. its going to be the worst disaster in our history. since Neanderthals walked the earth. My advice for anyone under fifty years old, especially those who are teenage now, . Emigrate or go survivalist. unless there's a total infrastructure and housing and farming change, unheralded scale, british society simply isnt going to make it. Aim to build a home entirely elsewhere. Tgere will be zero affirdable climate proof housing here. This is an uncharted range of temperatures to endure. Neoliberalism, capitalism, and conservatism not only need to die, they need to be utterly replaced in s handful of years. within the decade, preferably faster. The rebuild we need, the capacity to store snow melt to that degree in one nation, its never been done.
