@MamaLake@beige.party worry is increasing our fear of these things. Worry manufactures fear which causes worry, and that cycle manifests as these awful things happening around us. The only action I see is to decrease the worry. And the part I see that I am to play in that, is to spread peace in all of my actions. Even the most mundane things, like meeting a clerk's eye and smiling with my whole being, as I tell them thank you for something. And when I am (rarely) unsuccessful, I focus my attention to the next chance to spread peace in my world. But I will not focus on that which I do not want. I fully understand now that by allowing my imagination to dwell on how bad it can get, I am adding my energy to that outcome, and increasing the likelihood of it manifesting. I absolutely refuse to misuse my imagination that way, or to contribute my energy to such things. I will imagine many things, as details infect my reality, but every one of the outcomes I do imagine will always end well. If I find fear of current events inside of me, I find a way to imagine an outcome that doesn't feel awful inside of me. Even if it's "aliens will save us" or "this is just a mass hallucination" because I'm out of other ideas. So far, I've survived the Cold War, Armageddon, Y2K, several raptures, a plague combined with earthquakes, brain surgery, my own poverty, and I'm even almost done with a 2nd term of having a reality TV actor pretend to be president. Perhaps the point of the orange dicktraitor in office is to get all humans to realize we want micro communities instead of big governments, right after we realize that the problem of scarcity is an illusion that doesn't serve any purpose. (Ask me for more, I can solve every problem I have been able to find with this method. 😂) So, uhhhh... my long answer to your short question is: yes, we can shut it down by focusing our attention in the opposite direction and not feeding the machine with our fear.
