@michal@101010.pl I am conflicted. It's hard enough persuading people to switch from WhatsApp to Signal. Now with Delta Chat, they would also have to familiarise themselves with the new app (including the brand that they do not know) and set up a relay. I understand the appeal of distributed networks, but I've lost count of the number of people who have become confused when I've tried to explain what instances are on Mastodon. Now I'd have to have a similar discussion about a messaging app.
