PlayStation Store for PS3 and PS Vita will also close soon. Make sure to download whatever you need to backup (games, themes, wallpapers etc.)

@chris@mstdn.games in the article they have mentioned you'll still be able to download your purchases for the foreseeable future. You just can't make new purchases, so now's the time to get that game you've been sitting on the fence about.
