anyway, as you may guess we've installed Windows 2000 in a VM for WINE/loss32 development purposes
is it lovely? absolutely
is it peak Windows? I'm not sure. the animations on menus and tooltips are obnoxious, as is the IE click sound that plays every time you navigate a folder

@hikari@social.noyu.me Just unlocked an old memory for me, right there, of digging around in the Sounds profile stuff to find where to turn off that explorer nav sound prompt.
