With all the football/soccer being in the limelight at present for obvious reasons, I want make an oblique observation: People talk about South Africa being a violent country with high murder rates etc, but did you know that at the local soccer matches being clubs there is no separation between fans. They banter each other and enjoy rhe game Ever been to a match in Europe or South America? Opposing fans are kept apart by fences, have police escorts etc. #southafrica #football #soccer
