I am waiting for Vivaldi Social to start working on their copy of Mastodon 4.6. I suspect they'll wait until 4.6.1 as many people are. https://github.com/vivaldi/mastodon/branches

In my opinion, not many people tested the 4.6.0 pre-release because most administrators and users were focused on the critical security vulnerabilities that were fixed in 4.5.10 and 4.5.11. As a result, 4.6.0 did not receive the same level of public testing that 4.5.0 received before its release. At the same time, Mastodon is already working on version 4.7. The project's goal is to reach version 5.0 by the end of this year or early next year, which has accelerated the development schedule. Because Mastodon is moving quickly toward 5.0 and introducing significant changes along the way, newer releases will likely have shorter support lifecycles than usual (for example, I don't expect 4.6.11). Once the 5.0 series is released, the expectation is that development will return to a more stable and predictable release cadence.
