why can't modern phones just send files over bluetooth or wifi direct???? why does it have to be proprietary crap like "nearby share™" and "quick share" and "airdrop" and shit. even grapheneOS.. so done with this.... do i really need to get out my fuckin micro SD card for this???

@CIMB4@norden.social my Android phone (Fairphone 5 running googled Android 15) seems to have "normal" Bluetooth file sending, I have used it multiple times to send files to or from my laptop (running Linux Mint).
