Let's just say if you want to drink from a glass, it's probably best to bring your own. At least tea or coffee made with boiling water should kill most things. I should say, I _hope_ that the method described doesn't apply to _every_ hotel. But if it does - please don't tell me !! And never ever take a UV light into a hotel room!
