I find old droppings all over - in the loft, under floors, inside the walls. (It makes me very careful where I put my hands when I'm working on the place.) I have a little UV light that runs on button cells but it only reveals stuff at very close range. I really should get myself a good bright flashlight and check out the whole crime scene in technicolour.
