The debt taken out to fund the data center boom has already been repackaged to financial SPV’s and sold to 401k retirement funds as bonds. If the power, water, and usage to these plants fails to materialise, which physics says it will, those bonds will lose value. The tech bros already outsourced their losses to US retiree’s pensions.
