I have resisted smart phones and all apps for the better part of the past five years. It is pretty unbelievable how hard the system makes it to function without them. Some concerts no longer accept paper tickets or PDFs...gotta have their app. Banks force you to use proprietary smart phone apps for 2fa. Webapps are 2nd class citizens. QR code menus. It ain't easy. But I still don't have one.
