@DrJLecter@beige.party @atarifrosch@fedifreu.de Oha, echt krasse Antwort, solche Loblieder hätte ich echt nicht erwartet 😬 Bleibt die Hoffnung, dass es der Unternehmensführung plötzlich nicht mehr gefällt, wenn im Layout ab dem 2.8. stehen muss, dass die Bilder mit AI generiert wurden. Den Spruch hatte ich gestern bei einem Kollegen außerhalb des Büsten-Imperiums bereits gehört und innerlich bereits gefeiert, dass so mancher dann (hoffenltich) zurückrudern wird, weil der Satz im Layout ja so hässlich aussieht ❤️

I can see how there are advantages for the company, but in my opinion it fails to take into account the overall cost of the entire AI industry. Yes, generating a few images might cost less water and energy now, but the tech giants are still destroying our planet for it. Data centers ruining whole regions, stealing water, prolonging the existence of gas and oil and even nuclear plants. It doesn't matter that for you it's just a few pictures. The overall result of it is the AI industry destroying our planet, our democracy and underminding human rights and you are part of it. Your AI creating these pictures was trained with cheap click workers in Africa, Asia and South America without rights, just like every other AI. Once again, thank you for your reply, but it has not changed my mind." The reply I got to that: "Thank you for your thoughtful follow-up. I completely respect your perspective on the broader impacts of the AI industry, and I’ve made sure your feedback is shared directly with our sustainability and leadership teams.
