@r10s@mastodon.social @maypop@bark.wolp.chat @delta@chaos.social I can think of many apps that don't have liquid coming out of their glass: Uber, Lime, Dott, Discord, Bitwarden, DB Navigator... Adopting a bad design - unless using SwiftUI - is a choice.

@kbruen@procial.tchncs.de @delta@chaos.social @maypop sure, when not using native ui (mostly swift ui nowadays), you can draw what you want to. same for websites. but the lack of system integration has many other disadvantages, and even there the look is mimiced often nowadays 🤷♂️ as said, also apple seem to go back some steps with iOS 27
