Wait, is that how I'm supposed to patch the holes in my jeans?

@DragonBard@dice.camp There's lots of ways to patch holes. This uses sashiko stitching. You could also just sew in (from the wrong side/back) a patch, or on (from the right side), or iron on (or in) a patch. They're your jeans, you get to choose! @darwinwoodka@mastodon.social @jvschrag@hachyderm.io @TrueNorthSpice@mastodon.world

@DragonBard@dice.camp @akamran@indieweb.social @jvschrag@hachyderm.io @TrueNorthSpice@mastodon.world Well it's a way. Japanese used sashiko to mend clothing and of course turned it into an art form. I made a cute little coaster out of the sample I did so far, they used it a lot for household goods too apparenty.
