@thelinuxEXP@mastodon.social I've been seriously considering moving to a Linux phone for a while now, and this video answered a number of my questions. Thank you for that.
The issue of banking apps, though, is a bit of a sticking point. Kinda wish there was something like Ledger's touchscreen crypto wallets but for Android banking and payment apps, small enough to slip in your pocket and only connected when needed.

All of their web apps work in Firefox without requiring an Android app. Two of them did claim to require a duopoly app so I walked in to a branch, said I have a #Linuxphone and will need to take my money elsewhere if they dont allow me to login using Firefox on my Linux phone or Linux PC. One of them simply clicked something on their workstation and said 'Oh sure you can log in on the browser now,' and the other bank sent me a physical token. #gnuLinux #YotLP #tYotLP #appdwang
