Digital only means you're locked into buying games only from the PS store, so secondhand market and competitive platform sales on physical games will be a thing of the past. But digital really is quite convenient and pleasantly quieter too; even if the physical disc gets unloaded into the hd anyways, the only thing louder than the fan on a ps5 at full load is the spinning of the disc drive…
