#writerscoffeeclub 11/11/2024 How many times do you usually edit?
My typical process is:
- Write a draft of the chapter
- Turn it into a storyboard
- Do all the pages (some authors are doing all lines then all inking then all the colors. I do a page entirely before starting next one
- When all the pages are done, I put them in Affinity Publisher to add texts
It’s quite different than doing a novel, there’s not really an editing phase, but sometimes I change the dialogues when in Publisher.

#writerscoffeeclub 12/11/2024 Do any of your characters have pets? Tell us about them. Oops 🙊 I zapped this question 🙃 Her leonine nature makes Erie pet like from time to time, as in the linked illustration, based on a Préraphaélite painting by Walter Crane, in which Erie replaces the cat. [Illustrations: my version of At Home by Walter Crane and the original painting]
